Are you a technician at heart and experienced in troubleshooting at high-tech complex electronics? Do you have a passion for working with high-tech cabinets and modules? Then you are the Module Assembly Tester we are looking for!

Over het bedrijf

This position is open at one of the largest manufacturers of electronic modules and components for the semi-conductor, medical and high-tech industry in the Netherlands. Within this organization, work is done at the “low volume, high complexity” level, meaning that small series and mostly prototypes are produced. The products are assembled and tested both inside and outside the clean room.

Over de vacature

In this position, you will ensure that the assembled products are tested inside or outside the cleanroom to ensure their quality, operation and reliability. You carry out the prescribed tests and when a fault is reported, you use wiring diagrams to find out where the fault is and solve it if necessary and possible. You work according to the product- and function-related quality requirements, procedures and work instructions. Furthermore, in your role as a Module Assembly Tester you will have a lot of contact with the Assembly Engineers in the Module Assembly department in order to prevent common failures.

Your duties will further include:

  • Replacing parts and repairing defective connections
  • Independently assembling a rack and/or cabinet
  • Providing written feedback if work instructions are incorrect

Wat breng je mee?

As a Module Assembly Tester, you know better than anyone how to work in a structured and independent manner. You are analytical and able to correctly interpret measurement and test data. Because you are the last link in the order process, you must also be able to deal well with work and time pressure. To ensure good communication between you and your colleagues both within the Module Assembly department and outside, you have well-developed communication skills. 

Furthermore, we ask:

  • A completed education at MBO or HBO level in the direction of Electronics or Mechatronics.
  • Several years of relevant work experience in a technical production environment
  • Good knowledge of measurement and test equipment
  • Ability to read drawings and complicated electrical schematics
  • Willingness to work in a cleanroom in a 2-shift system
